Over the last two weeks, we had the incredible opportunity to present our latest research at two prestigious protestasis events: the Royal Society event “ProteostaSys: A Systems View of Proteostasis” in Cambridge, UK, and the EMBO – FEBS Lecture Course “Susan Lindquist School of Proteostasis” in Espoo, Finland.

These events brought together some of the brightest minds in the field of proteostasis, showcasing research that spans decades of scientific discovery. They also provided a unique platform for early-career researchers to share their work and seek advice from seasoned experts. All the lab members who participated were thrilled to present their findings during the student flash talk sessions and engage in thought-provoking discussions during the poster sessions. In true proteostasis spirit, many even took the opportunity to “shock” their systems with a morning dip in the chilly Baltic Sea.
